Ahh, the college life - the one instance in your short-lived life on Earth where you can feel perfectly comfortable doing absolutely nothing. Of course, part of the student life also includes learning big words like responsibility, maturity, and achievement. So, the quality of your student life isn't necessarily dependent on the amount of video games, bowling alleys, swimming pools, or skate parks, but we try to take these into account when making this college ranking of the top-ten colleges with the best quality of life. Now, the envelopes please...
Coming in at the top of the class is a tiny institution with an enrollment of just 150 college students, Olin College. Their intimate setting allows students to design their own academic programs, and the professors are considered more of a support team than a faculty. Following closely behind is one of the top colleges in the country, Stanford University, considered as cool as it gets for their laid-back lifestyle and extremely well-endowed endowment, which affords the best-of-the-best for their student body. Their cafeteria offers five-star quality grub.
Number three is Houston's Rice University, sometimes referred to as the "Harvard of the South." They are also known for their strict honor system that allows students to do group work and take home exams. Hmmm - With our fourth spot, Sierra Nevada College, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, is the outdoor-lover's dream - snowboard in the winter, wakeboard in the summer - oh, and there's a school, too. The fifth selection is Walla Walla, Washington's Whitman College, considered one of the most beautiful college campuses in the country.
The second half of our college ranking selection begins with Washington University in St. Louis. Their professors are known for regularly hosting exam reviews in their own houses - now that's how you study! At lucky number seven is the pride of Memphis, Rhodes College. Well-liked for their Tennessee friendliness, the college life of most students includes knowing almost every other student by their first name. At crazy eight is another highly respected California school, Claremont-McKenna College, which prides itself on having very small class sizes and an academic program that allows for independence.
With the ninth slot, we go to the one of the top colleges in the Ivy League, Princeton University in New Jersey. Heck, Einstein called this place home, and he was pretty smart. Rounding out this list of colleges that offer a high-quality student life is The University of Tulsa. The Golden Hurricanes' experience is considered a genuine secret, with students enjoying such things as regular school-sponsored outdoor events and a meal-ticket that includes filet mignon.
A few of the best, but your list might include others. If we missed your school, maybe it's better that you keep it to yourself. We wouldn't want to spoil a good thing. Anyone wanna go to class? Nah! College life is about having fun!
